Hello distinguished panel of rate judges! I will be submitting four ideas this round: # Mic The Snare 2020 Rate Mic The Snare is a music YouTuber whose taste closely aligns with popheads (for proof, see this [video essay](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEw6FV11UYA) he did on Carly Rae Jepsen's Run Away With Me and how it's the perfect pop song). From his [Deep Discog Dive](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBRzRZT4eHc) series to his [decade in music synopses](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfGSquzcBp0) to his [Quick Review Basheroos](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uXlDxNiegw), Mic consistently puts out quality material. I think it's time we admit he is a main pop girl and give him a rate! Based on his 2020 Year End Best Of list, this rate contains three albums that were in his list that have cult followings on r/popheads: Lianne La Havas' self-titled, Moses Sumney's *græ*, and Yves Tumor's *Heaven To A Tortured Mind*. I am also including a grab bag bonus rates of other albums that were either on his list or honorable mentions, containing such artists as Run The Jewels, clipping., Allie X, The Strokes, and the No Straight Roads soundtrack. While I know Missy has a cult following on popheads (myself included), all four of these women really were gamechangers in the early 2000s and paved the way for the modern female rappers who we see consistently killing it.
