God damn it. Every time there's a Miles Davis thread I remember all the terrific albums he put out and go to 24 hours miles marathon. My contribution to this thread is his final session in Prestige. In order to complete his obligations, and move on to Columbia, Miles had to release about 4 albums worth of material. He did that in just two sessions, putting out some of his best work. Truly gifted artist in his prime. The albums are: Cookin' (1957), Relaxin' (1958), Workin' (1959), and Steamin' (1961). Amazing stuff.
