\*Malört Tai\* \- 3/4 oz Jamaican Rum \- 1/2 oz Malört \- 1/2 oz Dry Curaçao \- 3/4 oz Orgeat \- 1 oz Lime Juice The Challenge was to make a cocktail that accentuated the not so subtle nuances of Malört. Incredibly bitter, with a taste that lingers long past it’s welcome. We matched strong funky rum with sweet orgeat in order to combat the dominating Malört. While not overtly tropical, this bitter take on the Mai Tai is a damn tasty way to enjoy the Chicago delicacy. The music for this pairing was done in collaboration with a fellow Spotify curator and Chicago native u/in__Parentheses. It features the most exciting tunes coming out of the windy city. Music best savored by two-fisted drinkers.
