Three words: Video game soundtracks. They seriously saved my neck so many times when I was pushing a deadline. I read somewhere that the music is designed to keep you engaged without being too distracting, and there's a variety of moods you can curate the music to depending on the situation! I feel like it also helps a little when you have experience playing the games so you can associate the music with being engaged! :) For me, I have two playlists that I just hit shuffle on: \- an "[open world](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1I0phnVcZFa2QehkO1ZIuk?si=dec9b25151d8415f)" playlist with chill OSTs for regular paced studying. Including but not limited to: Horizon Zero Dawn, FFXV, a *lot* of Genshin Impact, Persona5. \- a "[boss fight](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0EGl3uHUoaNDHIh2qnBS93?si=3f7681ea5c8c407c)" playlist with battle and boss OSTs for more high-stakes situations. Including but not limited to: Hades, more Genshin, P5, FFXV, and yes, the Coconut Mall OST from Mario Kart. Hopefully this helps someone out! :)
