I don't really have a name for it, other than West Coast Trap. I know DJ Mustard's sound was often described as "post-hyphy". the lyrical contents of some scenes/crews, centred around gang-related activites, make it easy to call it "Drill" imo (e.g. ShooterGang from Sacramento or EBK from Stockton), but that ignores the production side. I definitely recognize a few unique elements to the songs on my playlist. like a "stomping" snare or Laser-gun sounding details. I'm really interested in this unique sound too
