If you came across the song King's Crossing in your listening session I would absolutely *love* to get your opinion/insight on it. If you're at all interested, I made a playlist a while back that goes through his entire career. It's roughly 3 hours long and starts with one of his earliest home demos, then on to his first notable band, his first solo material, through to his final release. I tried to showcase his evolution over the years while making the transitions as smooth as possible. I wasn't entirely successful as his band Heatmiser was much more aggressive but it levels out shortly after that. The playlist is on Spotify under the name "An Afternoon With Elliott Smith".
