Those are good examples of it, I could even include Howard Jones. I made a [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2E9gHrfxomNBHEwzfOIVqk) a while ago. The eras overlap and they have somewhat similar sonic palettes, and it’s often an older prog kinda band getting a zazzy 80s makeover. In Genesis terms, Phil Collins is divorcecore while Mike Rutherford was more what I call dumped rock. It’s a bit less adult-contemporary and usually more spunky with “art rock” tendencies and lower star power. Heavily processed guitars and exciting synths - the anthemic rock tunes often use a synth horn sound for the hook and the ballads use weird pads
