I have been working on these for a while now and I am quite proud of what I have. I tend to not just throw random songs into massive playlist to shuffle. I prefer really curating my playlist and they will therefor be around 1-4 hours long. All of these can just be shuffled if that's what you prefer, but I recommend to listen to them in order and adjust your spotify settings so songs crossfade (I have crossfading on max). I made all these playlist so that if you listen to them in order they actually flow really well and you never get too sudden changes in mood or music style or long pauzes between songs. I generally try to avoid songs with too much emotional changes or stylistic mismatches so you won't find yourself with background music that doesn't fit the scene you are playing in. **D&D - Neutral**: this is my go to **background** music for **traveling**, **talking** and **adventuring** in general. Ideal for that **safe** haven in the Elven Woods or when you are telling a long forgotten legend. Works as well for certain **dreams/visions.** I start every session with this one when I'm waiting for all my players to arrive and settle in and to get into the mood. It also **builds up in tension** as the last songs slowly build up more and more. You can use this for imminent battles by starting a bit later in the playlist. It's **not too brassy or epic**, but **not too whimsical** either. Works perfectly after you completed the tension playlist as well. As the name suggest, this one is really **epic** with a lot of **choir and brass**, however, there are few softer songs in between to not exhaust your players. (Listening to epic music for a long time often makes your head a little tired). Use this for **final boss battles** or **truly epic encounters**.
