I just got married on Friday and used Spotify and it was practically perfect! The only thing I would have changed would have been researching settings a little more- my songs had no transition in between them so it was a few seconds of silence each time. Other than that, I got SO MANY compliments on good music. I created a playlist for the cocktail hour/dinner and the one for the dance after toasts. I made sure to start with the crowd pleaser soul/Motown and then faded into 80s and 90s classics, then more modern, some fun nostalgia boy bands/hip hop at the end. I timed everything out in an excel spreadsheet so that I had exactly the right amount of music. It was perfect. I highly recommend looking at playlists that are already out there to start from, and then add to them with songs that are personal to you.
