Drama CDs are great! If you'd be interested in a kind of darker spin on the idol genre, a series I enjoy (華Doll*) has their drama CDs [entirely on spotify for free](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2kWCRNKkUKgiOVTae7k2sm), even internationally! In my experience it's pretty rare for a media mix/drama CD heavy company to just put everything they make online for free and to be accommodating of foreigners so I thought it'd be worth dropping their name. If you want to find more, try to find a particular seiyuu or two whose voice/s you like listening to and follow their other works. There's also seiyuu groups who produce their own original drama CDs/etc.
