Just came to commiserate. I too have to choose when to listen to podcasts based on tasks. I can do housework, cook, really anything that's mostly tactile and doesn't require a lot of active focus (crochet when it's not something new, etc.). Meanwhile, I've basically become obsessed with [this "Focus Flow"](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWZZbwlv3Vmtr?si=DRxREqQlTf29HbjAUwoFIQ) Spotify playlist for when I need to do things that require focus because I can't handle people talking while I'm trying to focus so podcasts are entirely off the table, and frequently even lyrics throw me off.
