I've been really out of touch with current music for a while now, aside from in the Trance/Electronica sort of area. Most of the time when I'm on Spotify and I hear something new that I really like, it seems to be from 2005-2015. And I've been really vibing with some artist back catalogues, e.g. William Orbit, Future Sound of London, etc. Which is all a long-winded way of saying I don't know any of these albums. I do think Mercury has had an interesting history of nominees and winners, and they do not seem welded to any one genre. I've been properly obsessed with some of the previous winners, like Primal Scream, Alt-J, Roni Size, and Portishead.
