Description
My knowledge of East African music was incredibly limited until I visited Uganda & Tanzania last year. This playlist is something of a history lesson but eschews traditional styles in favour of soulful, jazzy grooves. Bands are from Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan and Somalia mostly.
