No filming policy: not really a recent development but I still see an increasing number of venues adopting it in Germany and partly also outside of it (e.g. in Warsaw) in the last few years. Modern Trance with influences of 90s Eurodance, often with vocal samples of 2000s Pop songs ([example playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3qxhVpwodz34MJbJZmNl6J?si=4109f8aab7e64d4c)): Still a niche genre but it's making big waves in Berlin right now. Venues are packed when acts like DJ Heartstring, Marlon Hoffstadt or Narciss play Edit: since you also mentioned fashion: sports sunglasses and mullet haircuts are coming back
