I like Faust's baroque tone: almost no vibrato, faster tempi (e.g. the fugue from BWV 1001), the ornamentation, the phrasing. Hilary Hahn seems to have a very romantic approach, it reminds me of Karl Richter's interpretations of the cantatas, oratorios and passions. Many people like it, to this day - I prefer the more historically informed approach. Just a matter of taste, really.
