Weird song choices for sure. I'd expect to at least see Raining Blood and/or Angel of Death if this is meant to be a "greatest hits" kind of thing. I'd chalk it up to wanting to include a bit of every period of the bands' careers but then there's nothing from Metallica pre-MoP. Their ["Thrash Metal Essentials"](https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/playlist/6QgTemEBMuHaVnOgXaRh1B) is much better, at least just as a quick "listen to this to get a feel for what Thrash is all about" deal.
