Day 22. Tried a video from 1.1 titled [Vinyasa 50 for the Core w/ Becca](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7EqNpN5ACmPU8bgbv8KSgt?si=uudzvNlnQcOrEFr5XkvQ4w) with the accompanying playlist titled [Love on the Brain](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7EqNpN5ACmPU8bgbv8KSgt?si=uudzvNlnQcOrEFr5XkvQ4w). I chose this because I really don't do much focused core work in my workouts and daily activities. I wanted a video that would hone in on that. A lot of the core work in this video seemed pilates inspired, and less traditional yoga poses. We would do a flow, then do some core work, then take a rest. The video did that 3 x with different flows and different core work each time. I enjoyed it and will be coming back to it. The poses I noticed I struggled with today the most are the standing split and the side lunge (skandasana). For both of these poses, I need to figure out what muscles I am supposed to be stretching and which muscles should be activated. I was doing modifications for both of them, but I just want to make sure my modifications will lead me to eventually getting the correct pose down the road. I lifted weights this morning so my muscles were a little shakey today during practice but overall, it was good practice. +1 for husband joining again.
