The people I see most on Top 10 lists are (in no order): 1. The Notorious B.I.G. 2. 2Pac 3. Jay-Z 4. Eminem 5. Nas 6. Andre 3000 7. Kanye West 8. Kendrick Lamar 9. Ice Cube 10. Rakim Eminem is usually considered the best in the genre of hip hop, and even further than that, he is considered a great musician in music. I mean, he is the best selling artist of the 2000s, and he's sold over 200 million units worldwide. He's not as much of an influence today as he used to be in music, but he is still pretty significant. Now as for my favorites, it's honestly a lot of rappers. This is my playlist which showcases some of my favorite songs in hip hop.
