The thing Primavera did with the "hey, we got some rock music too!"\-video was really just underlining the fact that it's a really, really bad year for that kind of music. To simplify it, they want to attract young locals and young locals don't wanna rock. Though besides the ones you've already pointed out and the other ones mentioned in the thread it might be worth checking out Dope Calypso, F/E/A, Fontaines DC, Here Lies Man, Holy Bouncer, Lift to Experience, Mujeres, Omni, Outlet Drift, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Texxcoco, Vagabon \(at times at least\), Vulk, Yonaka and Zeal & Ardor. I'm not saying all are good or perfect for the description, just that they might be worth checking out if you're looking for heavy/punky. Waxahatchee and Hinds are pretty garage\-y too, it's a stretch for heavier but fits punkier. :\) Well, I would fit Wolf Parade in there too since that's what I'm looking forward to the most and they'll probably kick everyone's ass. EDIT: forgot DobleCapa and Dûrga. Oh yes, I have REALLY scoured the line\-up for rock and there are some Pro\-artists mentioned above too, they can always be worth checking out if you've got time.
