Last year, at the age 16, his hit “Ransom” particularly broke the charts giving him his first top 10 Hit on the Billboard Chart. Although he hasn’t expanded much on his repertoire yet so can feel repetitive on the course of an album, his catchy flow, particularly well achieved on Ran$om, Shots and Did it Again will be worth it for anyone who loves this new-generation melodic trap rap. He has already associated with Taz Taylor , creator of Internet Money Records (who also worked with XXX Tentacion, Big Sean, Kodak Black, Gucci Mane, ..), who produced Ran$om as well as “Somebody (ft. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie)”. His sound is the one of his generation, similar to Lil Tjay and Lil Mosey. Inspired by Chief Keep and Speaker Knockerz, you can also hear new generation rapper like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie in his style with the mix of singing and rapping flow. Although he still needs to expend his flow range, let’s gives him time, he only just blow up and is still a full-time high-schooler. He even confided last year mostly just rapping on week-end, being focused to finish school first! Among the “new-school hip hop”, he deserves to be look at, and might even end up on the next XXL Freshman list this year!
