I'm running a Wild West themed DnD 5e campaign right now so I've been thinking in this groove for a bit - ​ * classic high-noon showdown - opposite ends of the town's main street, a demon stares the party down, tumbleweeds blow past while the terrified townsfolk look on, extra points for one-shot minions on the rooftops that fall dramatically to their deaths upon being KOd * the town is surrounded - the demons have some help from a gang of bandits, horses and wagons encircle the town (or a building) * busting up a saloon - one of the demons is holed up in a bar, drinking and/or gambling and/or whoring (hey, it's a demon, why not all of the above) - the players can burst in through the swinging doors to a smoke-filled, whiskey-stained room full of ne'er-do-wells, the piano player keeps a ragtime beat throughout * the ol' mine - a demon has found GOLD in the them thar hills. Dynamite! Mine cars! Utter darkness! * the tainted church, aka the Diablo - a demon has replaced the preacher and has opened up a portal to hell under the foundations * Locomotive lunacy - the demons have hijacked a train and they're riding it straight to hell - are your players bad enough dudes to fight their way through the cars to get to the hellish engineer?
