Everyone's got their own ideal sound for coding. For me, I need something that's: - Loud enough to block out anything in the background (eg roommates with the TV, coworkers talking, etc) - Simple enough not to distract me (this generally means no english lyrics) - Interesting enough that I like having it on. What I've found that works (links for those of you with spotify accounts: - [No-lyrics electronic music](https://open.spotify.com/user/kevinmkuchta/playlist/0ldHe4Hou7oYfZhqCFKYxp) - [Instrumental metal](https://open.spotify.com/user/kevinmkuchta/playlist/3FtFO5BjJuEgpnwzzxSCIi) - [The Red Army Choir](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4yNluGAiPbYXLwlA9KspbG) (because I can't understand the lyrics) - [Instrumental string covers of popular songs](https://open.spotify.com/user/kevinmkuchta/playlist/7bQt5FKbdUP2QywfKRG2I0)
