OP delivers: So I decided to go with records since doing songs would have taken me way longer. I did put together a Spotify playlist for all the records mentioned as well the link is included here. Enjoy. Front: Slaegt: The new record The Wheel or the Beautiful and the Damned EP Velnias: Sovereign Nocturnal Alcest: So hard to pick pick but I’ll go Escailles De Lune Ulver: Any of the first three records but my favorite is Bergtatt Drudkh: Prob Blood in our Wells or Estrangement. I’ll go with the latter. Samhain: November Coming Fire Cloak: To Venomous Depths Acid Witch: Stoned or the new one Evil Sound Screamers Killing Joke: Their stuff is so varied. I’d say prob Night Time over their ST from 2003 by a hair. Deathspell Omega: Paracletus Absu: ST Bauhaus: The 79-83 collection is essential Joy Division: I wanna say Closer, but fuck, it’s gotta be Unknown Pleasures. Misfits: I first got Collection 1 and 2 so I have an affinity for those mixes and track layouts Katatonia: Man I love all their eras but I’ll go with Discouraged Ones Mercyful Fate: Don’t Break the Oath Agalloch: My favorite band so I could pick so many. I’ll go with Pale Folklore though. Anathema: A band that has changed so much over the years but one that has meant a lot to me. Favorite however will always be Eternity. Type O Negative: Life is Killing Me Back: Grave Pleasures: Also check the former version of the band Beastmilk. Favorite of GP is Motherblood Danzig: Right alongside Agalloch for my favorite band. Really brought me into metal decades ago. If I had a gun to my head and had to pick one record it would be Lucifuge Ghost: Opus Eponymous The Devils Blood: The Time of No Time Evermore Tribulation: The Children of the Night Uada: The Cult of the Dying Sun In Solitude: ST Dissection: Blasphemous but it’s Reinkaos Fields of the Nephilim: Another band that it’s so hard for me to narrow.
