I've been a CYR apologist relative to a lot of folks here. I greatly dislike a few of the singles (ramona and wytch are terrible IMO).. but lots of songs I enjoy despite the word salad songwriting on a lot of the songs. ​ I really like the backup vocals and a lot of musical ideas. ​ So far ATUM has been hit and miss as well but the hits are more emotionally impactful than CYR's songs and ATUM has a more diverse musical palette that I appreciate. ATUM is the clear favorite at this point and I predict the hits are gonna keep adding up to something special that might overtake TFE as my favorite post machina Corgan studio album. ​ Another thing I will say.. the 'MASTER QUALITY' version on Tidal stood out as sounding a lot better than spotify's version. I'm no crazy audiophile either.
