Hardcore: - Being As An Ocean's *Dear G-D* (that specific album, not so much the others) Post-hardcore: - meWithoutYou, esp. *Pale Horses* - Movements ??? - Listener (I'd call them alternative prog-rock but fuck a label). Love Touche Amore but I've never seen their music as similar to LD in the slightest. Hip-hop: - Kendrick Lamar - Talib Kweli - Aesop Rock This is my short list. To be honest, I listen to a ton of music, and La Dispute have always been in their own league to me, so I've never thought of this before and I'm not really interested in trying to make the list bigger, but, for the interested, some of the other artists I listen to most frequently are: Architects, Capsize, Counterparts, Chopin, Eminem, Defeater, Dvorak. Jordan has mentioned listening to a lot of Joanna Newsom and Aesop Rock, Chad has a Bandcamp with a couple of his [own songs](https://oatsandmolasses.bandcamp.com/), and Brad has put two playlists up on Spotify ([1](https://open.spotify.com/user/ondryland/playlist/1rZK6auUiMRW6hh1Mc41Gm), [2](https://open.spotify.com/user/ondryland/playlist/5KX8FOpp3wTJEAwFYTqe6d)), and Brad posts music sometimes on his [Tumblr](http://bradleyvanderlugt.tumblr.com/); so you can check all that stuff out if you're interested in looking directly at La Dispute's own influences.
