There are a ton of amazing albums in Rap, I'm gonna suggest you some more accessible ones as well as some more niche ones. **Accessible** * Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy I know a lot of the general public likes to hate on Kanye, but music wise there are very few rappers who do it better. This album is pure artistic genius with amazing instrumental arrangements, clever lines, and expresses emotion extremely well. * Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city Kendrick is probably the best rapper out there right now and for good reason, his lyricism and storytelling are nearly unparalleled. good kid, m.A.A.d city is like a movie playing out in your head. There are some amazing deep cuts on this album, but also some great bangers. * The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die Biggie has some of the most accessible 90's gangsta rap without losing lyricism or narrative. If you can sit through a couple awkward Skits you will get to hear some of the best flows ever and some of the most famous rap songs ever. **Niche** * A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory Tribe is my favorite group ever and this album has some of the most progressive and interesting production of the 90's. Q-Tip and Phife Dawg are the perfect combo sonically and lyrically. If you like jazz and more off-beat stuff you will definitely love this, if not it is still a must listen. * Fugees - The Score This album is actually probably pretty accessible, but I put it in the niche section just cause I don't see people mention this album too much. Fugees are a great introduction to Lauryn Hill, who proves that women are just as good of rappers as men. You will likely recognize some of the songs because they like to put their own spin on covers that they do. * Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy The most recent album I will recommend to you, it came out in 2017 and was my favorite album last year. I have never heard a rap album that sounds like this one and I'd find it hard to believe if you don't connect to this album emotionally. And finally [here is a playlist](https://open.spotify.com/user/alexfein98/playlist/29pPxPXs6qfwzLNpnvmMBX?si=umrQRoS0RnKTwYSO0BhrGg) of mine that highlights some of the most popular raps songs of the past 10 years or so.
