Handbag house, diva house, anthemic house, 90s house i think it's just a really specific subset of the above that just sort of has the attitude and certain ... aura.... that makes it such a prevailing gay anthem i think part of the sound you're looking for is like "organ bass" or when dance songs use something other than the traditional bass sound but something more organic or "higher" sounding to be the bass synths also i have no idea what im really talking about - im just franksteining things i've read about throughout the years cuz i also love this kind of music!
