They've outsold your "biggest acts in music today", a list I'd argue is noticeably outdated. The actual biggest band in 2018 on Spotify was [Imagine Dragons](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWXjg4w8L3Now?si=3bd5yL2nTJGuggzWu49C7A), followed by BTS, Maroon 5, Migos, Coldplay, The Chainsmokers, Queen, and The Beatles. The only top 50 artists you named were Drake and Kanye. RIAA [doesn't make a list](https://www.riaa.com/gold-platinum/?tab_active=default-award&ar=&ti=&lab=&genre=&format=Album&date_option=release&from=2018-01-01&to=2018-12-31&award=&type=&category=&adv=SEARCH#search_section), but does have them as one of only 60 certified albums of 2018. Billboard's [best selling of 2018](https://www.billboard.com/charts/year-end/2018/top-artists) is near identical, with it being Imagine Dragons, BTS, Migos, Maroon 5, Florida Georgia Line, Panic! At the Disco, U2, 5SOS, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Portugal the Man, EXO, Queen, Pentatonix, Twenty One Pilots, The Carters, Old Dominion, Journey, Foo Fighters. Rolling Stones and Metallica were both not mentioned on that top 100 bestsellers list, and TOP outsold Foo Fighters. In [2017](https://www.billboard.com/charts/year-end/2017/top-artists), TOP were the 31st bestselling artist in the world, and 10th bestselling band, despite not releasing an album. They outsold Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, and Kanye in a year where they didn't release an album. In [2016](https://www.billboard.com/charts/year-end/2016/top-artists) they were the bestselling band in the world, outsold by only Adele, Bieber, Drake, and Beyonce. They did not release an album in 2016. So yeah, top 15 last year, top 10 the year before, best selling band the year before. They're one of the biggest bands in the world, certainly about top 20, and they've outsold most of the artists you mentioned in one right or another. For what it's worth, I think Blurryface is really mediocre, maybe a 6/10, and Trench is a 7.5/10 at best. Not a huge fan of theirs, but the takes on what bands are "big" by people who are clearly a little behind on music here are realllly bad
