I usually attend raves solo (pre-COVID). I'm in my 20s, male, I can drive, and my raves are in Vancouver, Canada. I tend to... procrastinate on outings out of the house. So I buy a ticket to a show to commit. Downside is you're always the DD! Once I'm there, I'm the first one on (and the last one to leave) the dance floor and cutting shapes. It takes courage (or some "ar**d**ificial encou**rug**ement**s**") then it brings everyone else on the dance floor like a dance magnet! Between that, the DJ, the lights, and then the energy of the crowd, it's easy for enjoyment to outpace anxiety. It has been 11 hours and you said the rave is tonight. I presume you're already there and living it up!
