You'd get better answers in /r/Grime. Grime isn't "british hip-hop", So Solid Crew aren't grime (they're UK Garage). Remember that a lot of people get it wrong. Grime has a fast electronic sound - that's the only detail you need to remember. If it doesn't have a fast electronic sound, it probably isn't grime. Compare the beat on [Skepta - That's Not Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xQKWnvtg6c) (Grime) to [Giggs - Talkin Da Hardest](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=914OHMH5zqE) (UK Rap/Road Rap). Notice how the first song is fast, energetic and has that electronic kinda vibe to it? That's grime. Compare [Kamakaze - Leng](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IksKOmWSGTM) (Grime) to [Dave - Black](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDUPSNdmFew) (HipHop) - "leng" is energetic, fast and electronic, "Black" isn't. If it's really something that interests you, I have a very large grime playlist you can shuffle [through](https://open.spotify.com/user/madbrad200/playlist/3HM2SCw5gdf5F88s2ugq1F?si=fV3mvlQ2TyKdx0COrW10gw). The difference becomes clearer once you're used to it.
