I have an instrumental playlist I like listening to for reading Lovecraft: https://open.spotify.com/user/thegunsb/playlist/3Mh0bTL1o29Qidipnsymwc?si=94zSLI3DQpSUmfJc4QdYQg Not every song in there is suitable, so I usually put it on shuffle then check the queue and cherry pick the better songs a bit. It's led to some great moments, like 'Paranoise' by Oh Sees syncing to the Cthulhu Chase sequence in The Call of Cthulhu, or 'Year of the Monkey' by Sufjan Stevens lining up with the ship journey to the Moon in The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. Phillip Glass, Battles, Buckethead, Death Grips, Don Caballero, Flying Lotus, Hannah Peel, Herbie Mann, Jlin, King Crimson, Les Baxter, and the score from 'The Road' by Nick Cave/Warren Ellis are all in there too and generally suit reading Lovecraft quite well.
