Have you ever appreciated a book for existing while knowing it doesn't work for you at all because of where you are in life? That's how I feel about this book. I want to sit these kids down and lecture them even as I understand what it was like to think that way. It's also funny to me that a few reviews I read complained about the protagonists being "too good at sex" for how young they are supposed to be. Because teenage me would've hated reading about realistic awkward high school sexual encounters. She probably would've wanted the sex to be even dirtier. **Watching:** Yellowjackets on Showtime. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a show this much. I love every aspect of it. The cast is great.
