Nice - looks very similar to what I would recommend. I would use this to share with people what I mean when I say I'm a huge metal fan, and also introduce them to metal. It shows off a decent variety of at least the melodic subgenres; while it doesn't have much _core or brutal slamming pornogrid etc. It starts with a few bands just to introduce metal subgenres, then it goes loosely country-of-origin based after that, kind of a world tour. Anyway, I think there's a chance OP might find more styles of metal to enjoy.
