Oh god, can we please do a mainstream pop rate from like 2006-2012? Cause seeing all you nerds make fun of the music that I assume you all listened to in middle school with this mainstream rock rate over the weekend made me wanna make fun of the music that *I* listened to in middle school. I've actually been putting a lot of thought into it in the past few days and settled on the [American Top 40 number ones](https://americantop40.fandom.com/wiki/Number_1_Songs) from October 11th 2008 to November 12th, 2011 (from Disturbia to Someone like You - because it was the longest string of continuous songs that I knew of off the top of my head when reading that list) but cutting it to no more than 2 songs per artist and with some additional songs from just before or after that period that I picked out as well (capping it at 60 songs). [Here's the playlist I put together so far](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/49RTyQ1jXg1D270tIsETYJ?si=Qo5wYmfOT6mA5Vh_M8t9bg), but I've still gotta figure out which songs to cut from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc. to limit them to just 2. Would people actually be interested in this? I think it could be fun to rate late 00s/early 10s pop through the same veil of semi-irony that you guys rated those mainstream rock songs. I'd be down to host it if there's genuine interest.
