If I don't know the artist, which is common, I'll draw a fair amount from the top 10 suggested tracks Spotify tends to generate. For the DJs/producers, I favor original productions, then remixes by the artist, and last remixes of the artist by others. I also try to hunt down the most recent live set I can find and listen to that (if you want a link to those mixes, send me a private message -- I'm not sure how elgooG would feel about me potentially hammering my Drive with a public link).
