This last word riff is equal parts: internal rhythms/ crossing the bar line/ unique production/ syncopated flows. For the rum I used Smith & Cross for the obvious reason that it’s the drinks namesake but also because it’s strong funky flavors that stand up well to the competition in this cocktail.
