Hot take but Reputation’s tracklisting it’s by far it’s biggest fault. It’s not very cohesive at all and it really would’ve been nice to see a transition from the diss type braggadocio tracks to the softer ones. Instead we get jarring moments like This is Why Can’t Have Nice Things into Call It What You Want. It’s so weird to have the former song so late in the album honestly. So, I’ve tried to alleviate that with [this playlist of a new order I just made!](https://open.spotify.com/user/paranoidpenguinmusic/playlist/55c31jkW6y90x6THcwPTP0?si=xWIskNRIT1qQ5OXm9bzYqQ) it’s not perfect, but it seems like a lot of the album has different sounds that didn’t work so well where they were, and also there’s progression and more of a story in the tracklisting. In the original tracklisting, Call It What You Want and New Year’s Day seems to suggest a resolution and redemption and it’s so odd that the album just plops This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things before that which kills any momentum the second half had.
