1. there are so many. lots of answers can be found in my favorite songs play list, its very good : [https://open.spotify.com/user/clantogw/playlist/5DKZwy5rfkypblqyXUFbcy?si=zJupe0YhSUu\_GDVWMfaUpw](https://open.spotify.com/user/clantogw/playlist/5DKZwy5rfkypblqyXUFbcy?si=zJupe0YhSUu_GDVWMfaUpw) ​ 2. i think i just compress it a lot and add a lot of distortion. i dont use sidechain compression, i heavily limit entire buses or even the master bus, its very dirty. ​ 3. lets say zero-g nosalgia, omnisphere, and stylus rmx ​ 4. not very long, i started making music with loop packs in middle school on MTV Music Generator for PS1. then i had a band in high school. my band in high school would have 100 people come to shows, because it was a small school and we were basically the only band, and there was nothing else to do in my small town. it would be about 10 long years after high school until i started getting 100 people coming to my shows again. ​ 5. i feel like im being taken seriously more or less. of course i dont hear what the people who dont care about me say. i only hear the lovers and the haters. i imagine a lot of people see "vaporwave" "mirror kisses" "100% Electronica" and even "George Clanton" (thinking its a bad pun on george clinton) and just say "PASS" because they arent willing to accept my groovy sense of humor. the george clinton jokes get under my skin though. if i was going to come up with a fake name, i am way funnier than to just change one letter in some other guys name. ​ 6. i may be misinterpreting this question, but: i dont see it that way. vaporwave people say my music isnt vaporwave. they say brilliant things like "This is post-chillwave!" (wtf)... the music i make naturally has a vaporwavy vibe. thats how i got involved with it so easily when it was new. now, i like to tag myself as vaporwave whenever the opportunity for a genre tag exists, because i want to continue to influence its path as long as its around. when 2814 came out, vaporwave wasnt dark ambient music. now it definitely is. they say vaporwave doesnt have vocals, or that it has to have phaser on the drums, or whatever else silliness. i saw vaporwave would be dead already if it just stayed the same forever. theres a reason it isnt dead yet. in short, i think im trying to say, as pretentiously as possible, that vaporwave leans towards me ​ 7. i havent! too complicated! i like zero-g total rex right now.
