Ah yes I love these posts because then I get to be pretentious and flex the sad number of hours I spent ranking every Outkast song. Anyways before I offer that up lemme be honest. If your more of a mainstream rap fan like Travis, Ye, Cole, Tyler, Da Baby, etc then I’d definitely start with Stankonia, from there I’d go for Speakerboxx and maybe skip most of the love below besides Hey Ya, Roses, Spread, a Day in the Life of Benjamin Andre and She Lives in My Lap. Then go for ATLiens or Aquemini. ATLiens is more laid back and eerie while Aquemini is more artistic and soulful so take your pick. From there if you love most everything you’ve heard I’d listen to Southern and Idlewild for extra credit and if you really wanna go all out for Big Boi then check out his first album as well as the Dungeon Family album which has both Andre and Big Boi as well as some other great southern hip hop artists. But if you only want the best songs and you don’t wanna do the homework then here’s in my opinion a cheat sheet. I ranked everything Outkast song and feature as well as Big Boi and Andre.
