Venetian Snares, especially his collaborative project with John called Speed Dealer Moms (actually my favourite electronic work of John's). For the more pop side of things on the likes of PBX and Enclosure artists like Human League, Depeche Mode and Peter Gabriel are all artists that he has mentioned and can clearly be heard as influences on those records. He's also mentioned many times that he his a massive fan of Autechre and went to their last show in LA (which is on spotify Autechre - AE\_Live\_Los\_Angeles\_151015). Don't know if John has ever mentioned him but U-Ziq does a lot of stuff with jungle-esque drums and a lot of the time seems to use the same synths as John.
