Hey there! Nice to see you want to learn a new language! I haven't studied Ukrainian myself, but I have studied Russian on my own, and I'm interested to maybe learn Ukrainian in the future. I remember a language project being launched by the Ukrainian government, to help foreigners studying their language. This is the site: https://speakukraine.net/#project Apart from that, there actually seems quite a lot of content out there that can help you on your journey! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSTYIEpLtn_dqY7mMBoF3kA https://www.ukrainianlessons.com/thepodcast/ https://podbay.fm/p/one-minute-ukrainian There's also Duolingo, but I would more use it to support your vocab and grammar learning, and not necessarily as your main source. ;) For me it also helps to listen to some music, write down the lyrics and look up the translations or try to translate it yourself when you're up to it. Here's a playlist of some Ukrainian songs I like: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5mmfAUGhz8G10WZmMzUkJm?si=26d5f0b78395472d Lastly, it's not untrue what the other person said that learning Russian will help you learning Ukrainian. I studied Russian and because of that I can understand some Ukrainian and Polish, but you should of course learn the language you're interested in, and not first another language, just because it might help..! I'm sure that learning Ukrainian first, will later help you study Russian if that's how you want to continue ;) I hope some of this helps, even though I'm not studying the language myself!
