every room is different, but corners are the best place to start. after that pinpoint other problem areas with software like [this](https://www.roomeqwizard.com/). I also have a [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/user/123008723/playlist/60tqoi1DfOoyCjcHNo3KIp?si=PJKSJNy4SXyMBXa3wgUM4g) set up for testing bass frequencies. set to repeat so you arent running back and forth all day lol. this playlist help me set up 2 subs in a room and making sure I was getting the polarity right, was harder for me to do since I don't have any sound treatments. as for learning different types of treatments, [this guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb30CICG68c) seems to know a lot. [here is him on positioning](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbLVjHfHahg). I expect that, since the way each person perceives ideal sound itself is pretty subjective, you will find a wide range of opinions though.
