That's a really great idea! I'll give it a shot. 1. Jet: Start the album off with a bang. And it's about planes too! 2. Isolation: A stark emotional piece with a great climax. 3. Scared: Not really all that similar, besides the paranoid atmosphere. It works as a followup to Isolation. 4. Magneto and Titanium Man: Classic bouncy Paul tune with a story line too 5. The Lovely Linda: A short acoustic number. 6. Oh Yoko: A cringe worthy tune like Bungalow Bill, but you gotta have a Yoko-song to accurately capture John's solo career. 7. Living In The Material World: Energetic, and spiritual. It's not as similar as This Guitar but it's far better. 8. Going Down On Love: One of the only John songs that splices together distinct melodies into one awesome whole. Side Two 9. Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five: Piano-based Intro and arguably a better climax than Martha My Dear. 10. It's So Hard: A tired blues rock number. 11. Heart Of The Country: Folky brilliance. 12. Run Of The Mill: Dissimilar to Piggies, but a beautiful tune that blows that rotten song off the album. 13. Sally G: A silly but catchy country tune from Wings. 14. Photograph: Ringo's most popular song as a solo artist 15. Oo You: Nonsense lyrics over a ridiculously good bluesy guitar lick. 16. Maybe I'm Amazed: The definitive McCartney love song. 17. Look At Me: The easiest choice for me, melodically very similar and John delivers an excellent emotional vocal performance. Side Three 18. Old Siam Sir: Rocks just as hard as Birthday, repetitive lyrics too. 19. Gimme Some Truth: An angry blues rocker with excellent guitar work from George! 20. Mamunia: A beautiful song. 21. Cold Turkey: A drugged out, underdeveloped rock song. 22. How Do You Sleep: Lennon seems pretty pissed at someone here. 23. Monkberry Moon Delight: Had to choose a song that captured that amazing McCartney roar. 24. Ballad Of Frankie Crisp: Eerie, quiet, and understated. Side Four 25. Instant Karma: John writing an anthem "for the people". 26. Baby's Request: Better than You Gave Me The Answer 27. Crackerbox Palace: Horn-filled fun! 28. 9 Dream: John never returned to land of Lewis Carrol, but #9 Dream retains that ethereal quality. 29. Hear Me Lord: Revolution 9 sucks, so I'm cheating and giving George another song, a really good one too. 30. It Don't Come Easy: This double LP deserves a better finish than something like Good Night. So let's go with George and Ringo's classic.
