Description

Easter, 1986: Kurt, with Dale Crover of the Melvins, sowed the seeds of the band when they tracked a demo as Fecal Matter. The tape led Krist to join, and by March, 1987, they played their first show. In May, Kurt moved to college-town Olympia, making home recordings and gaining presence as Nirvana.
