I know I’m late to this thread, but you might like a [best of Modest Mouse playlist](https://open.spotify.com/user/1234739715/playlist/6cgUy6IX7wUPW2FGhdoskR?si=PSUknSIQS5Ksl0kM1cp1IQ) I made a while back. It’s not some well-thought-out compilation or anything - it’s just tracks I like off different albums, so it’s sort of organized by album in that way. It doesn’t matter where you start, so hit shuffle I like their noisy poppiness, and Isaac (the singer and brains behind the band) has this instantly identifiable lisp, which makes him vocally unique but also kind of shows his courage and drive. I mean, at least at the beginning it must’ve been hard for him to be comfortable performing publicly. That humanizes him, and I like that. The first Modest Mouse song I really liked a lot was Never Ending Math Equation, so maybe start with that one.
