The association with anime art is purely due to a massive amount of terminally online zoomers recently discovering Breakcore (well, "Breakcore," but I'll get to that later. I'm also a zoomer just to be clear that I'm not some old man shitting on kids these days lol). Historically, the genre has never really been strongly connected to any one specific art style due to it generally being a pretty experimental genre of music. The song you're asking about is Jungle, not Breakcore. In fact, probably around 95% or more of the stuff that people on Tik-Tok & YouTube think is Breakcore is actually Jungle or Drum & Bass. And I'm saying that as someone who's been listening to Jungle/DnB for around a decade, and is a way bigger fan of Jungle/DnB than of Breakcore.
