Just a quick disclaimer; I don't have much experience with iems (or headphones for that case) so take my thoughts with a grain of salt! I also am not reviewing the diokos but instead just sharing my thoughts on them 🙂 Also I use large spinfit cp100s with my diokos as none of the stock tips fit me so I'm judging the sound with them instead of the stock tips! Misc: I ordered my pair from Linsoul with express shipping for 117 USD and it took 4 days for them to be shipped to Australia and took one more day to be delivered to me! The thing that stood out to me the most the first time I listened to them was how clear everything was!! I'd never used any planar iems before this and only briefly tried a few planar headphones at addicted to audio but I was still blown away! Looks: Do I even need to say anything? They're beautiful! Maybe too flashy for some people but beautiful nonetheless. Fit: Omg, these fit my ears like gloves! They're so overwhelmingly comfortable for me I can't explain it but they completely disappear into my ears and if that cable weren't there, I'd have a really hard time knowing if they were in my ears or not (slight exaggeration but you know what I mean). Sound: Sounds so good! I wish it had a bit more midbass for rap and bass-heavy songs but no biggie there's always eq. The soundstage is really good for an iem (still sounds like the songs are "playing in my head" tho) but it's shaped like an oval if that makes sense? I mean horizontal sounds are farther placed than vertical sounds. Imaging is pretty good too! I played a couple dozen matches in valorant with these and (almost) each time I could precisely pinpoint where the enemies were based on their gunshots, footsteps, utility etc. I think the treble is almost perfect because the "sss" sounds at the end of some words are sibilant and so are the high hats for some songs. It also gets fatiguing after a while. The sound signature makes it good for basically all genres but rock songs just shine on these! I can hear all the cymbals and drums over the guitars and vocals. Also I can hear my footsteps and the cable bouncing/rubbing against my clothes whenever I use them, not sure if this is normal for iems tho! I don't really like the stock eartips either as none of them made a good seal with my ear as mentioned in the disclaimer (maybe it's more of a me-problem?) Slightly irrelevant but the isolation is really good imo! I don't listen to music super loud but as soon as I start playing music, I can't hear anything from outside (whereas I can with my moondrop sparks which are made of plastic). Also the clarity on more busy songs (such as Jackknife by Riot or any Riot song really) is bloody amazing! One thing I want to point out is that in the song Stuck In A Dream by Leonell Cassio, the part where there's music and "blurts" of bass, sounds muffled on ALL my headphones and iems BUT my diokos!! Songs I used to test these: I listened to my whole playlist (not in one sitting hahahah) that has a lot songs from a lot of genres such as pop, rap, rock, and dubstep) but here's the [link](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6y4FAHRA68ecDwD8ULFzNs?si=b70107e71db1419a) if you want to check my playlist out! Sorry if any of this is hard to understand, I suck at descriptive writing! And I think that about covers all my thoughts on the 7hz diokos! Thanks so much for reading!
