I tend to gravitate towards neurofunk and techstep/darkstep. [KEXP](http://kexp.org/) does a show, "Expansions" that one of the DJs played a bunch of this sort of stuff in the early 2000s and it helped, in part, to get me hooked on drum and bass, especially the tech-y side of things.
