like other replies here are saying, there's not much here to worry about. and if someone raises an issue, i feel it won't go anywhere. the success of blinding lights can't be ignored, but for anyone who's heard a sizeable amount of music from the 80s, synth-lines like this are common, and blinding lights itself is derivative. it's a popular song, but it didn't originate this sound whatsoever. the [influences](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djV11Xbc914) [are easily](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ41hqlV0Kk) [traced](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIpfWORQWhU), and there's more of them to be heard in [these](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/71wpwg8KzRxx240DcJx2EE) [playlists](https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/synth-pop-essentials/pl.46d48e38d0a34b4eb054dd4aaf90de91). obviously artists are influenced by each other, this has happened and will keep happening in music until the end of time. as for beomgyu's song; his influences are clear, but besides the synthpop sound, it actually does not immediately bring to mind another song. it isn't really a directly referenceable... in the way blinding lights is. so far what we've heard of thursday's child has far to go is quite well-done, and he's a promising young producer.
