Currently listening to The Internet's [Hive Mind](https://open.spotify.com/album/27ThgFMUAx3MXLQ297DzWF?si=j3Y5jgolQ6iS4B8UDg6JTA). Heard the single Come Over a few weeks ago and thought it was a nice tune, going through the rest of the album, accidentally on shuffle, I'm really vibing with it. It's the kind of nice music just to put on in the background, I've just been browsing things and drinking at 1am, it's just pleasant alt-r&b/neo-soul or whatever you want to call it. Can't be mad at that. Found myself listening to deadmau5 & Rob Swire (fame Pendulum/Knife Party)'s new track [Monophobia](https://open.spotify.com/track/2nLgWMdYPO35GGpwX2xo23?si=YLBjG4vWQIS5vXG4ajPW5w) heaps, hilariously bizarre [music video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG3sfZKtCQI) to go with as well. Just a nice electro-house tune with some nice vocals from Rob, I've always loved his voice and that made me want to listen to a few other tracks in particular from him so I made a playlist with a few tunes I liked [and here it is](https://open.spotify.com/user/fda4c2ah3x6mum13lp77y72gr/playlist/76aSSQ9YvA0LKJgNlKUJ1o?si=7DaY14VTThGQVjUQvYGE5w). I keep coming back to this album of Seth Sentry's, [Strange New Past](https://open.spotify.com/album/0qRi8GikRx1ZWEgYQBJiTH?si=clofPJR2RDS67WZ1ivAa1A) has been my soundtrack for the past week or so, really personal album that had elements of relevance at every turn, it's kind of his thing, entertaining and clever lyricism, somewhat tongue-in-cheek and kind of really depressing sometimes. This is a bit more mature than his previous album This Was Tomorrow, and it has a lot of introspection with current and past things in his life. The intro track "[How Are You](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KursbkaDkiE)" really hits home with his honest and blunt complaints on why people continue to, or just expect you to say "I'm fine" when they ask how you are, of course most wouldn't really want to spill their feelings out to just anyone, but he really just wants to know why people even ask if they really don't care about hearing about how people really are. The track [1969](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VbrL65_RBo), the second last track on the album before a really heartfelt apology on pretty much everything he's done ever. Is one of my favourite tracks this half of the decade, with a hilarious re-imagining of the moon-landing. In an alternate universe where people wanted to blow up the moon instead, a lot of irony and witty humour placed all over the track just makes it a real curve ball after a lot of emotion has been spilled over the rest of the record. Refreshing, fun, and just a great track to vibe to. Never thought I'd be singing along to "Just blow that bitch up out the god damn sky So the night gets lit up, watch that shoot up And the night gets lit up, blow that mother fucking moon up"
